This is interesting, and with a much better price point than the bullrest (at least for this kickstarter campaign), I feel like I would prefer the Ostrich Pillow Go. But don’t take my word for it, take a look for yourself. My favorite feature is that it shrinks down for storage.
So I was looking around on Kickstarter today, which I sometimes do, and I came upon this pretty interesting idea for a travel pillow. If you have 50 extra dollars lying around, it sounds like a good idea. If you travel a lot for work or something, I could see making such an investment in something that will allow you to sleep. I can’t ever sleep on the airplane no matter what I do so it would be pretty pointless for me, but my husband would probably love it (he travels a lot more than I do these days).
And if the price point is too steep, you could always make one of my non-patent infringing travel pillows using this pattern (the big kids size also works for adults).
I don’t often see such interesting Kickstarter ideas as far as books go, but I thought I would share this one with you. Do your kids ever ask you questions about how to make money? This is a great way to answer their questions and teach them about earning money and even the basics about creating a successful business. This is something that would have been amazing to have around when I was growing up with my brother, who went on to start two separate businesses before heading off to Seminary to learn how to teach the Bible. In fact, here is a picture of us selling lemonade as kids with our cousins. My aunt posted it on Facebook a few days ago. Perfect timing.

I hope you find it as interesting as I did.
Happy travels (and happy parenting),
The Hoodsbee really piqued my interest. The title for their product is, “The Hoodie That Becomes A Plush Toy.”
I haven’t been posting many Kickstarter campaigns on here because I am constantly bombarded with requests to let my readers (you lovely people!) know about various campaigns. But this one piqued my interest because I feel like it would actually be a great addition for my traveling arsenal! It is a stylish child’s hoodie that easily transforms into a pillow pal. I know my kids would use this in the car, on the train, or any other place they need to rest their heads. Please consider helping these awesome inventors out. You can get a Hoodsbee for a $30 backing, which is a really good price that is competitive with other plain hoodies out there. For more information check out their kickstarter here, and hurry because their campaign ends in 15 days.
Disclaimer: Although I have personally corresponded with an employee from the makers of the Hoodsbee and believe they fully intend to comply with their campaign, there have been recent campaigns where the company raises the funds and does not distribute the goods. Although this is rare, I feel it is my responsibility to share this with you.
