Child Travel Pillow – DIY Tutorial

So you want to make a travel pillow for your 2 to 5 year old child? You have come to the right place!

This tutorial is for my new travel pillow, which takes a rectangle, and a triangle, and combines them to make sure your child can sleep in their carseat, their CARES harness, or on any other seat you can make a strap to go around. Let’s get going on your Child Travel Pillow Tutorial DIY.

First you need to download THIS pattern (right click and select “Save Linked File As…”) since this pattern is different in size than the baby travel pillow tutorial, then you can go ahead on over to the SER Baby Travel Pillow tutorial. The steps are exactly the same for this child pillow as for the baby pillow I wrote earlier. But before you head over there, here are a few more pictures of what this child travel pillow looks like, modeled by my 4 year old.

  1. This is great! I’ve never liked how those circular ones fit, too bulky. This will be awesome for my toddler when we take our trip. Thank you very much for the pattern!
